Austin graduated from Profile High School in 1979. He served in the US Army from 1980-1984.
Austin worked as a Loss Prevention Officer/ Supervisor for 12 years.
He is currently employed at the Littleton Police Department as Auxiliary.
He resides in Littleton with his wife of 21 years.
